In June 2027, Ciao Giulia takes you on an 8-day journey along the Amalfi Coast, but not the version you see on social media: we’ll show you the places you’ve always wanted to see, while also taking you to the side of the peninsula that often remains hidden.
During this trip, you’ll stay in a locally run accommodation, and move through the region in different ways: by luxury minibus, on your own vespa, and by private boat. This allows you to experience the Amalfi Coast without traffic on busy coastal roads or overcrowded boats.
You’ll ride along panoramic routes on your vespa, swim in bays only accessible by boat, and see Positano and Amalfi from the water. We’ll enjoy lunches with sea views, taste lemon granita that truly tastes like lemon, have pasta Nerano in a small harbor at sunset, and visit a lemon grove with limoncello tasting.
Authentic Amalfi is a small-group journey (max. 12 people), for those who want to experience the Amalfi Coast without feeling rushed.
This trip is designed for couples and solo travelers, groups of friends and families, for anyone looking to slow down and step away from the rush of everyday life. Age doesn’t define the experience; it’s about how you choose to travel. Please note: our grouptrips are 18+ only. You’ll be guided by the Ciao Giulia team, with support in Dutch, French, English, and Italian.
What to expect
During Authentic Amalfi, you experience the region by land, sea and air.
By land: Hop on your own Vespa as we cruise along winding coastal roads and pass through villages you’d otherwise simply drive by.
By sea: We explore the Amalfi Coast & Capri by private boat. Swimming in hidden coves unreachable from the road, dropping our anchor near Positano and Amalfi and taking our time to enjoy an afternoon on the water, far away from the crowds.
By air: We head up high: scenic viewpoints on top of cliffs, walks with sweeping views over the coastline below, and for those who want… a paragliding flight over the Amalfi Coast, an experience you won’t forget anytime soon.
Your itinerary
Day 1-2: Arrival & Sorrento
After arriving at the airport, you’ll be picked up and brought to our accommodation. No hassle with transfers or figuring things out: your trip starts right away, in complete ease and comfort.
We explore the village, enjoy a first apéritivo, and gather in the evening for a shared dinner at a long table. This is the moment you feel it: you’ve truly stepped away from it all.
The next day we head to Sorrento, wandering through its narrow streets, discovering the charming harbor, enjoying a delicious plate of ‘pasta alle vongole’, and easing into a relaxed afternoon.
Day 3-4: panoramic vespa rides
No crowded buses or traffic jams today, because we hop on our own Vespas.
Over the next two days, we follow panoramic routes, with stops at places you’d otherwise simply pass by.
We also head up into the hills, towards some spectacular viewpoints. While the crowds continue below, we enjoy a quiet moment above with a cappuccino and tiramisu.
Along the way, we combine a short walk with lunch at a spot you’d likely never find on your own.
Day 5-6: from the water
Today, you step aboard our private boat: no crowded decks or fixed routes, just freedom.
We sail past Positano and Amalfi, while also showing you smaller, lesser-known villages. We drop anchor in hidden coves and jump into the water whenever we feel like it.
The next day, we head to Capri, with its dramatic cliffs, scenic viewpoints, and of course the cable car to the highest point of the island!
We wander through lush gardens, stroll along the shopping streets, and enjoy a refreshing Aperol Spritz.
Day 7-8: the last discoveries
The final days are all about slowing down. We take our time to discover a few lesser-known villages and viewpoints, enjoy a relaxed walk, and seek out the most beautiful spots for a picnic or an aperitivo at sunset.
We also come together for one last shared experience: a limoncello tasting beneath the lemon trees.
On day 8, we bring you back to the airport, with a head full of memories and a week that will stay with you long after you return home.
Your route along the Amalfi Coast
During Authentic Amalfi, you discover the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento peninsula in a way most people never do.
You move through the region in different ways: on your own Vespa along panoramic coastal roads, by private boat along the coastline and to Capri, and in the evenings comfortably by minibus to small harbors and hidden spots you wouldn’t easily find on your own.
And maybe even from the air if you choose to add a paragliding flight, a true once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Where you’ll stay
During Authentic Amalfi, you stay in one place for the entire week. No constant moving, no unpacking and repacking every day, just a fixed base where you can truly settle in.
We consciously choose a small-scale, locally run accommodation, centrally located along the Amalfi Coast. A place with character, where you’re not just a number and where mornings can unfold at your own pace.
You’ll stay in comfortable double rooms with a private bathroom, with outdoor spaces to unwind and a pool for those moments when you simply want to cool off and do nothing.

The price for Authentic Amalfi is €1.995,00* per person and includes:
- Airport transfers (when opting for our recommended flights).
- All transportation including a private minibus with driver throughout the entire journey.
- 7 nights in carefully selected, small-scale accommodations, each with a private bathroom.

- A selection of lunches and diners featuring regional specialties.

- All listed activities, excursions and experiences in the program, including entrance fees, guides and tastings.
